Margo & Mr Whatsit came to town!

On the Friday 21st June PaddleBoat Theatre returned to Shepton Mallet...bringing with them the rather cheeky Mr Whatsit!

As well as visiting St Aldhlem's where Mr Whatsit had students dressing up in all kinds of costumes PaddleBoat also led a free after-school performance at St Paul's where over 150 people came and enjoyed the show! Sophia and Mr Whatsit also made a little stop off to scope out Shepton Mallet Library!!

Margo & Mr Whatsit explores the story of Sophia and her imaginary friend. Mr. Whatsit is always there with a new joke to tell and a new game to play – that is, until the day Sophia un-imagines him.

Now there’s a new imaginary friend in town – the tea-drinking, lipstick-wearing Margo. Can Mr. Whatsit’s childish playfulness keep him from being un-imagined forever? Exploring the story of a young girl in care searching for her forever home PaddleBoat Theatre Company brought a brilliantly funny, heartwarming and imaginative show to Shepton Mallet - full of puppetry, music, clowning and play.
